This policy explains how ManyMart ("we", "us"), which runs ManyMart at http://localhost:3000, collects and uses your personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and/or mobile number, used to sign you in (including one-time passwords).
- Order details — delivery addresses, the items you buy, order history, and any notes or return requests you send us.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We receive the payment status and a transaction reference; we don't see or store your full card or bank details.
- Reviews — ratings and reviews you choose to post, shown with your first name and last initial.
- Usage data — pages and products you view and searches you make on this site, and analytics data (such as Google Analytics) about how the site is used. A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in.
Why we use it
- To create and manage your account and process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- To send you updates about your orders.
- To keep the store secure and prevent fraud.
- To understand what customers are looking for and improve the store.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax invoices and accounting records.
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed with: courier partners (your name, phone number and delivery address, to deliver your order); our payment gateway (to process payments and refunds); and service providers that host our website, database and images. We may disclose data when the law requires it. We don't sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to eight years). Other data is deleted or anonymised when it's no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent you've given, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to us at support@myschoolsathi.in. Some data (such as invoices) must be kept by law even if you ask us to delete your account.
Security
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to personal data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details private.
Children
This store is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
Grievance officer
In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, you can raise a complaint with our grievance officer at support@myschoolsathi.in. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt.
